Learning transcended boundaries as the young learners of Grade 2 participated in a Virtual Student Exchange Programme with Witty Campus, Goregaon East. Conducted in the classrooms of Grade 2A on 1 September 2026 and Grade 2B on 27 August 2026, the interactive sessions provided a platform for students and teachers from both campuses to connect, collaborate, and share ideas.
Grade 2A led an informative and thought-provoking session centered on the theme "Conservation of Animals." The students introduced the concept of wildlife conservation, emphasizing the significance of safeguarding animals and preserving their natural habitats. To make the learning experience memorable, the children narrated a compelling story about the extinction of the Dodo bird, illustrating how human actions contributed to its disappearance and underscoring the urgency of protecting vulnerable species. Through discussions on extinct and endangered species, the young speakers encouraged their peers to make responsible choices. Highlighting practical conservation steps, the session placed special emphasis on the 3Rs; Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. In a meaningful sustainability initiative, students motivated everyone to eliminate single-use plastics by adopting stainless-steel water bottles and lunch boxes for daily school use, demonstrating how small actions can create a lasting environmental impact.
Meanwhile, Grade 2B organized a vibrant and engaging session dedicated to English grammar, focusing on the concept of Nouns. The students clearly explained the distinction between common and proper nouns using relatable, everyday examples. To ensure active participation, the session featured interactive questioning, identification exercises, and fun learning games that made grammar concepts easy to understand and enjoyable to apply.
This Virtual Student Exchange Programme meaningfully aligned with key holistic development frameworks, promoting Academic Excellence, Personality Development, Innovation and Creativity, Universal Values and Ethics, Community and Care, and Skill Development. Furthermore, the activities supported Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
Overall, the programme proved to be an enriching experience filled with learning, fun, and environmental stewardship, empowering our young learners to grow into confident communicators, thoughtful collaborators, and responsible global citizens.
